This is startling news to me because I always felt that people with some extra body fat on their bones had a better chance of recovery from illness than those like me who cannot keep any storage fat for a rainy day.
The Study looked at the BMI of over eleven thousand people of over 25 years age.
I hope this research will change the eating requirements suggested by Health Canada and promoted by the anorexic looking Dieticians in the heath care system, because I loose what ever bit of fat I have when I follow their directions.
As for younger people who think this is a licence to binge it is only healthy for senior people who are more likely to get more illnesses, and have more serious operations to recover from.
