A while back I read that Brandon is losing Pathologists. The RHA/Brandon Clinic were/are recruiting Pathologists? Was this just news-spew to comfort us? Where are the Pathologists? How close are they to securing Pathologists? Who is ultimately responsible for this ongoing-yet failing-recruitment??  
 
It is my understanding that we were short of Pathologists BEFORE we lost the last two very experienced Pathologists. How are some areas of the lab going to stay running now?  
 
Why is this issue not being reported on? Is it not news? Does the paper/tv not want to report on something so serious in our healthcare system? How many Pathologists are left to work here now? How many years experience do they have?  
 
How many bodies are being sent to Winnipeg because Brandon's beautiful healthcare facility doesn't have the manpower to do all the autopsies here? What else can't be done here because "they are still recruiting".  
 
Has anyone heard what areas of the lab may be shut down? How will it affect my lab results? Who will be accountable for this? What procedures are being sent out of Brandon? Does anyone even care that our healthcare system is failing us because of mismanagement? If you don't want to think about it, let's hope you aren't in a hurry for your lab results.  
 
The RHA is a disgrace. Beautiful, expensive facility and they can't secure enough specialists to work there.
