Oldest Person in World Dies

Gertrude Baines died in California yesterday (09.11.2009) at 115 years old! Could you just imagine all that she had witnessed in her lifetime? I am fascinated by the fact that she wonderously bridged THREE centuries! Wow! And her dad was born in 1863! I think such little tidbits like that really inspire me and awe me to know that history is not as far away as we tend to appreciate.
I am just amazed at her longevity.
