H1N1 Flu Shot Clinic For: Pregnant women, Pregnant women's children aged six months to under five years old and Household contacts of pregnant women in their third trimester

Please Wait If You Are Not in a Priority Group!
If you are not in one of the priority groups listed above, please wait until more vaccine arrives and let those in the priority groups receive their shots now. As more vaccine arrives, the H1N1 shot will be offered at flu shot clinics to other Manitobans who need or want it.
Also:
- Clinics will be scheduled to run into December 2009.
- Seasonal flu shots will also be available at all H1N1 clinics.
FOR ALL CLINICS:
- There will be screening to ensure you are in the priority group
- You may want to bring a lawn chair and snacks to assist with the wait
- Additional parking is available behind the
- Convergys building off Princess Avenue
- Bring your Manitoba Health Card
- Seasonal flu shots will also be available
Those that should get the flu shot first are (as outlined by the Federal/Provincial Governments):
- Children aged six months to under five years old
Anyone of Aboriginal ancestry (First Nations, Métis or Inuit)
- Disadvantaged individuals (for example, homeless)
- People under 65 with a chronic medical condition or other risks including severe obesity, substance abuse or alcoholism
- Anyone with a weakened immune system or those who live with or care for them
- Pregnant women (consult with your doctor about the right type of vaccine to receive)
- Those who live with or care for infants under six months old
- Single parents or anyone solely responsible for a dependent
- Health care workers and medical first responders
