H1N1 and egg allergies
11/8/2009 at 1:32 PM
I contacted our allergist regarding getting our daughter vaccinated, she has an egg allergy. We were told because her level is considered low, she was able to have the shot. We waited on Saturday only to be told they would not administer the vaccination. We have to wait until the shots become available to the GP's. No date on when that may happen. So if you are allergic to eggs, don't waste your time standing in line to get your shot. I think this is another situation where the Government dropped the bomb, this information should be out there for people, at least the question should be asked by the screeners before you waste any time standing in line.
