Is it H1N1? (Scared to ask doctor...don't like a scene)

I recently came down with something, started with a sore throat deep down...than worked it's way into a stuffed/runny nose...Now it's in the chest with a cough and a runny nose.
Could this be a sign of the famous H1N1....or am I just sick with the annoying common cold!?
