TMJ aka Lock Jaw

If I am mistaken i am sorry. I have noticed that I have been alittle sore in my teeth and jaw lately and then the spiders started. I thought that it was just the stress i was under. Anyway i thought I was grindingmy teeth so I asked the dentist this morning at a regular appointment. She says I have to go to a specialist in Hamiota. So here is my question what can i do in the mean time and has anyone else had this and seen this Dr? Just looking for a little more info
