Heres the situation without getting into details- I've had to change my OB/Gyn Doctor. The one I was seeing made so many basic errors (forgetting to wear gloves,not knowing how to use basic equipment,unnecessary perscriptions)during my pregnancy that it was beyond acceptable. I had a physical issue that they first said could be a "such and such issue" (I won't state specifics here), but after having my child they then said they had no clue what it was and would have to refer me to a specialist and I may need surgery. I gave up at that point with this Dr (I knew the issue wasn't going to kill me in the short term).  
After waiting MONTHS to see a different Dr I was told exactly what the issue was same day, right in the office, and that it was a basic diagnosis that any OB/GYN would recognise and no surgery would be required. When I told this new Dr what the previous one had told me they looked so shocked and said that shouldn't of happened.  
I know from reading other threads on here and sites that you can rate your Dr on that my first Dr doesn't have a good track record- there have been many blunders and unnecessary surgeries and many people have voiced their concerns (myself included).  
Where would I go to file an official concern about this Doctor? I want it to be known with the right people in charge that there are some legitimite issues about how they practice medicine and that they should look closer at how the Dr. handles patients and diagnosises. Could any one offer any contact info?
