Wisdom teething infections?
3/6/2010 at 10:46 PM
Yesterday I noticed one side of the back of my jaw was hurting, where I've had wisdom teeth about to come in-I feel the pressure of them coming in. The pain gradually increased and it hurt to open my mouth. As I'd been feeling the brink of a cold/flu, I had acquired a sore throat, now I'm wondering if it could be related?
Opening my mouth hurt, only on one side (right behind where your back molars meet, the 'curve from bottom to top' but mostly at the top) Anyway, I took a look and it is fairly swollen inside and an off colour. Is it possible to get infections before your wisdom teeth actually poke through your gums?
I brush my teeth, and unless it's a late night of studying, I hardly forget. Anyone have anything similar when/if your wisdom teeth came in? Poor babies, I understand why they cry and get cranky-my goodness this is painful!
