7 year old with a sore hamstring

today my 7 yr old daughter complained that her hamstring was sore. My question is this..is it normal for a kid that age to have sore muscles? It's not like she was doing anything physically strenuous. Also, a hamstring injury seems very unlikey for her age as well. I will keep an eye on the situation and will visit the doc if it persists, but just wondered if other parents have dealt with this kind of thing.
