Brandon Hills Etiquette for bikers?

I just wanted to know if there was any etiquette while riding through the Brandon Hills? My brother-in-law and I were going pretty fast on the downhill, heading towards the parking lot and passed by 2 groups of A&L riders (about 15-20 people). We of course slowed down and passed. Then the thought occurred to me if there was a rule for that sort of thing? I definitely don't want to be 'that guy' the ruins things for others enjoying the Hills.
Thoughts?
