Is there one in Brandon ?

Not sure if there is now but a few years ago there wasn't. I was dealing with thyroid issues and saw Dr. Mishui who is an internal medicine doctor with a special interest in thyroid. Do not recommend her for thyroid problems. (I know endo's deal with more than just thyroid) I went to Winnipeg and saw Dr. Salamon at the Winnipeg Clinic. Highly recommend her.

did you have to have a referral to see Dr Salamon. Dealing with thyroid too and not happy with my current doctor.

Yes I did need a referral to Dr. Salamon. I just went to my family doctor and told him I wanted a 2nd opinion. I didn't have a specific doctor in mind but you can specify which specialist you want to see.

I had asked to be referred to an endocrinologist when I lived in Brandon and after a year and a half with no word, I gave up. I moved to Winnipeg a little over a year ago, and the need for an Endocrinologist became apparent to another of my specialists. He referred me and literally the next morning, less than 24 later, I was called in for my appointment and have been seeing a wonderful Endocrinologist every 2-4 weeks to monitor my condition since. I was amazed at how quickly I was able to see him. That is one thing I do not miss about Brandon...I have been able to see several specialists here in Winnipeg in very little time.  
 
That being said, anyone who does need to see an Endocrinologist, the doctors at the Manitoba Clinic are highly recommended. And I can honestly say that the day off is worth it to see one if you need to.

I believe there is a new doctor at the western medical clinic. I forget his name but he is from South Africa and it states on his profile that he specializes in endocrinology. It says on their webpage. Hope this helps.

But there are some pretty great ones in Winnipeg. Dr Salamon is great, as is Dr England.
