Alpha-thalassemia ATR-16 Syndrome

Has anyone ever had a infant/child diagnosed with Alpha-thalassemia ATR-16 Syndrome. Looking for any information about the disorder and how it affects the child, what steps to take early on and if the child should be seeing specialists.
