Has anyone tried this water from the Pool Doctor? Interesting story on the Manitoba company and health benefits but costs more than filtered tap water or RO water from the store. At $8.00 for five gallons is it worth the money and has anyone noticed some of the benefits their website claims? I do believe the water we drink is important and there seems to be more emphasis on ph levels so it makes me wonder if the claims hold some water (pun intended).

Studies have shown that price differences in the same product may cause purchasers to taste the product differently. For example, wine will "taste better" if it costs more.  
 
This may apply to your water. The added cost makes you believe that you are getting more out of your water, or that it has less impurities.  
 
As an uneducated person I would say that tap-water here is somewhat questionable in regards to health, or at least considered so by many. Certainly it hasn't killed anyone.  
 
I would also say that any water that has been filtered and sterilized should be fine no matter the price.

im not sure about this particular bottled water but every bottled water i have heard of comes from a tap somewhere, sometimes its filtered first so you dont taste the chlorine like you do with tap and it may be tested for other minerals so the taste may be different but as far as health concerns i think water is water and there is such a negligible difference here in canada that unless you want to pay for the taste, which as far as im concerned the more expensive the higher standards i have (for wine and water lol)
