MAOI for Depression

I suffer from treatment resistant depression. I have tried every antidepressant (SNRI and SSRI) with no luck.
Does anyone use MAOI's? This is a very old antidepressant from the 50's, but very effective I am told. Doctors do not prescribe it often due to the many interactions it has with diet and other medications.
If anyone uses it, please let me know how you are doing on it?
