Support/Interest Groups

Is their any groups in town that I might be interest in joining? I don't really socialize much and rarely go out with my friends as we don't have the same interests. Now I am looking for other things to do out there. Support groups are more recommended but I wouldn't mind putting myself out there and maybe picking up a new interest.
