Has anyone tried this? Was there a difference in how you felt? How was the taste? Anywhere in Brandon to purchase? Just general experience would be great!

Fraser Sneath Coffee at 1031 Rosser makes a fantastic fresh milled maccha sourced from Japan. It is also sold at the cafe.  
 
 

Forbidden flavours, carries Aiya Zen Blend Green Matcha. You can get a Green Tea Latte iced or hot and Green Tea frappe. You can also purchase matcha there for home use.

I love matcha! It has a bit of an earthy taste in its own, and can be a bit of an acquire taste, also. Watch when you're buying it (from wherever you buy!) that you're buying pure matcha and not a blend that's had sugar added to it. Just check out the ingredients on the bag.  
I am a Steeped Tea independent consultant, and we also sell matcha. Ours is highest quality available, and we carry regular matcha as well as flavoured. Our flavoured matcha may be a bit more palatable then regular to start out with. Best part is that there are no artificial flavours or sweeteners added to our matcha! The flavours in ours are from real fruit pieces and our plain matcha is 100% pure matcha with no added sugar. Feel free to message me if you're interested in ours, but just know that you can purchase matcha many places, it just may be already pre cut with sweeteners.

If you enjoy green tea lattes, you really do need the matcha for those. I enjoy making my own at home. Make your own simple syrup, warm your own milk and mix with the matcha to taste.  
 
I do have yet to try is just steeped in water like the Japanese do though. Guess I need to try that.  
 
Have not noticed any different health effects in comparison to regular green tea, but I do enjoy the flavour of it as something different.

I agree Matcha is good with blueberries. Mind over Matcha is my favourite smoothie at Booster Juice. I usually get it with the Hemp Hearts. Now I want one lol!  
 

There are several different flavours available at David's Tea. That is where I buy mine. You can get a bag or just a cup if you want to just try it.

Hey, I'll be upfront that I work for Fraser Sneath Coffee so I'm definitely a bit biased.  
 
We get our matcha from JagaSilk, a wonderful husband and wife company who import small batches directly from Japan. We sell only in 20g containers, with the matcha sealed in a foil bag within the container to keep it from oxidizing. Our matcha is ceremonial grade and we treat it as such, when you order a matcha in the shop we prepare it in the traditional fashion and serve it in a beautiful chawan(tea bowl).  
 
We offer a traditional matcha portion, as well as a matcha topped up with water to create a nice sipping matcha for when you just need to relax and enjoy life =)

I love matcha smoothies! I buy the pure ground matcha leaf and use it in my blender with some milk (rice or soy works well also), ice, and vanilla protein powder. Its a great! It is definitely an acquired taste but it is sooo good for you.

A group of us that sell with steeped tea are running a Matcha challenge right now. I'd love to have you join. You can get new recipes for matcha, get in on contests and have a chance to earn some free product!
