Are they're currently any meditation classes, groups etc going on in the city? Interested in furthering my experience with meditation but yet to come across any group/learning opportunities.

It's not meditation as such, but I take a tai chi class at St. Matthew's that is extremely relaxing and meditative. In case you're interested.

Oprah and Deepak have another online meditation 21 day event happening on line, if you can not find a local option.

Not sure what specific type of meditation you're into but one lead to look into that popped into my head because it was on the site recently....  
a member started the thread below a little over a month ago where they were starting a group on buddhism. The thread includes some replies from folks getting into meditating. Not sure how far they got but it would definitely be worth a look into with some of the folks that replied:

Also you might've done this already, but because we have 11 years of 500,000+ posts on the site there's a great searchable database with local thoughts on just about any topic imaginable. Hopefully you'll get some more feedback and answers in this thread that you've started, but through the search I found a thread that you might find useful to send you in the right direction:

I have been working to start a Dharma study group here in town, meditation will certainly be a part of that. I have recently been quite busy with work and as such have not been able to find a place for the group to sit. I am hoping to take advantage of the nicer temperatures and use some of the great park spaces we have in here for the group to gather. I will update the group thread soon with details!
