Hi there! I'm planning to get a brace tho, but I'm not sure if how much is it and the monthly payments. Anyone who can share their experience? Thank you

I'm also curious. I'm 30 years old. Do many 30 year olds get braces? Any success?

I have had mine for almost 2 years so far. When I first went to Dr Bales, he examined my teeth and made a treatment plan during the consultation. It came to roughly $6,000 for my braces but it depends on the type of braces and it covers the costs of the appointments, any cone CT scans that may be required, and the retainers that you get after your braces come off. I can't say for the monthly payment, as I have paid everything upfront and so far, it's been worth every penny and monthly visits. Good luck!

I was quoted about 5 grand, too. That was for Invisalign.  
 
Then I read a story about a guy who 3D printed his own for about 60 bucks.

By someone that works for one of the orthodontists, that the cost is usually about $6000. Most people pay at least $1200 up front and do payments of $300 per month.

Close to $6000, monthly payments of $200 and we had insurance pay the upfront payment of $1400 and a portion of the monthly payments.

Are they allowing the patients to use credit card for the first payment?

My daughter currently has braces from Dr. Bales. The total cost will end up being about $6,300. We paid $415 for the initial assessment appointment where they decide what is needed, etc. Then we paid $1,200 the day she got her lower braces on. And payments of $200.25 per month for 2 years. Yes you can use a credit card for the initial payment or the monthly payments. The fees include all appointments, all supplies needed, and repairs that may need to be done, cleaning utensils at the beginning, etc. They are very good at explaining everything to you and answering questions. My daughter really likes Dr. Bales and everyone in his office. Good luck!

at Dr. Winburn. Will cost 5900$ for his and he needs quite a bit of work. Remember braces aren't always about just straightening the teeth. If that is all you need then Dr. Pappas can do them as well. Dr. Winburn does a free consult to explain everything. Then it is 352$ for the impressions/xrays/etc. If you have insurance coverage this cost can be claimed through them so you can be reimbursed. The upfront cost for us is almost half and then you can either pay in full/pay half/or monthly payments for 1 year. You do get a discount if pay in full. Remember this covers all costs such as appointments, retainers, etc. Bales and Winburn are pretty much the same in pricing, it becomes a personal preference on who you choose. Good luck! I have braces at 36. My teeth were a mess. I am 7 months out of my 18 month treatment and my teeth are very close to perfect already. I certainly recommend Dr. Winburn. First you need to see your dentist and will send you for a consultation (free). They will let you know what is needed and the cost. The payment option is great but you must pay a certain amount the day the brackets are placed. Approx 1200$ but again this depends on what is required. I am basing this on my experience and then equal payments for the duration of treatment. Expect 5-6 grand but well worth it. It is not without discomfort so i hope you like soup lol.
