Due to recent job changes, our family no longer has benefits/health coverage. Are there any companies, other than Blue Cross, that you can get affordable health coverage? We are especially looking for dental coverage and welcome any suggestions.

Try a broker?

Have you tried a broker like Guild (there are tons of others)? I think insurance brokers carry health insurance too, and will have multiple providers to pick from depending on your needs and price points.

Worth calling about on Monday, anyway. They would at least be able to point you in the right direction.

is another big health insurance coverer. You can check out and compare their plans with Blue Cross.

Try green Shield, i found better coverage with them.

I am with Group Medical Insurance and it covers just about everything including travel insurance if you want or need it. Have been with them for abut 10 years and no problems at all.
