Osteopaths

Just jumping on this thread to clear up any confusion.
In Brandon, there are currently NO OSTEOPATHS working in the city. The closest Osteopaths are in Winnipeg.
At reactive massage therapy, I am a Registered Massage Therapist that has completed my 5 years of schooling in osteopathy through the Canadian College of Osteopathy. Until my research paper has been completed and presented before an international jury, I will not have the designation as Osteopath.
Upon completion, I will be granted a Diploma in Osteopathy (Manual Practice). This differs from the American Osteopaths who are in fact physicians.
As a massage therapist, I make use of various manual therapy techniques such as fascia release, visceral manipulation, joint manipulation and cranial sacral. But, stating that I am an Osteopath and billing as one can get everyone into a bit of trouble.
On a more positive note, I the research paper is coming to a conclusion, but I am still looking for some 18-28 year old males who would be interested in receiving a couple complimentary treatments if they don't mind being a part of the study. If you or anyone you know are interested, send me an email: RMT04@me.com
