I consider a lot of "real doctors" drug dealers with not much training (often none) in nutrition and often they ignore herbs that work better than their drugs. Often those are cheaper & safer too. But for the "real" doctors...if the system don't make money=it doesn't work.
I have been at the receiving end of many of these in the conventional medical system. The results have been far from favorable at times & sometimes dangerous. I no longer trust them without question.
I have found that they don't like questions either...information on the patient's part certainly gives power. It is up to the patient to educate themselves and be well informed. They say to ask questions...and you can bet that I now ask..lots! They hate it!
I will say, however, that I do agree that there are some snake oil types that will masquerade as natural doctors. I always proceed with caution and check them out and check out their suggestions as thoroughly as I can before going forward.
I believe it is unwise and risky to follow either blindly.
