I get very bad shin splints in my legs, on the outside of calves. I barely can walk a block and the pain will start and then I limp. Both legs but 1 is worse. Is there a specialist in Brandon that I can go to and get it figured out. Not sure if a foot doctor is what I need to see as it's above my foot. Been getting worse last few yrs. I'm not in marathon shape but I am in decent shape so that shouldn't be it

What to really call it. Just thought that is what they were called. Will have to look up claudication

I suggest seeing a doctor in order to get a diagnosis, instead of 'looking up claudication'.

if you don't have one, at least try a walk-in

I will go see a doc. Just wasn't sure if I should go to a foot doctor or a regular doc.

A podiatrist will check for claudication and if it is shin splints
