Since that time, I know there is a lady in Minnedosa that makes them. I cannot remember her name, but I know she has a facebook site.

I know it is not local but Marilyn from Ginger wraps knows her stuff! She puts out a quality product and works with you to pick your own patterns and style. If you tell her you were referred by her Manitoba customer she will most certainly treat you right.

I just added photo''s of mine from Marilyn at Ginerwraps. I did not want to waste time picking material, so just told her the colors in my comforter....love what she picked.  
 
She is very knowlegeable and answers any question you can think of.  
 
from the time I ordered it, until it came (all beautifully wrapped), was only about 10 days. Pretty sure I was able to pay with paypal. I thought for the weight of the blanket the shipping was very reasonable too.

I’ve bought 2 for beds in our home a 3rd for a gift and I just ordered a 4th for a gift. That’s how much I love her blankets.

Sasha it is very individual as to the correct amount. They are much heavier feeling than you would imagine. Marilyn will ask you a few things and give you great advise on the right weight for you.

I also ordered mine from Marilyn in Ontario. I told her colours I’d like and she sent back options and we went from there. I had ordered it for my 4 yr old but she doesn’t like it - however my husband and I use it for naps and really like it. It is VERY well made. I think they run about $200 for the size for my girl, so I paid her $100 separately on two paycheques and then she worked on it and got it to me right away once payment was received.
