Im looking for a lawyer in Brandon with high success in cases regarding sole custody. Didn't want to hijack the other post lol

You can try legal aid. They go based your income and see who you can afford for a lawyer, I think anyways

And they told me it was for lower income families so we wouldn't be accepted. Either way just looking to see who would give the best chance of winning based on previous cases

I recommend Paterson's. Any lawyer there will do a good job.

That being said most won't recommend going for sole custody unless there is a seriously good reason like safety of the children. A judge will not allow it either unless there is a solid reason for it. Good luck.

of domestic abuse in the presence of a child, then father trying to come back into life after 2 years of being given chances to see child? If that isnt enough for a lawyer to work with maybe I shouldnt spend the money on one

That is likely a good enough reason although it wasn't necessary to share on here.

Parent could still be granted visitation although likely be supervised.
