    Hot “Dog” Days of Summer

    Looking for a good lake to take the pup for a good cool off, any recommendations? Prefer something a little more quiet and not a lot of people as I realize not all people like dogs. Thanks in advance for any suggestions!

    My guy likes to go in the pond close to the parking lot after a hike. We went this morning. Later in the summer it looks a little too green, but with all our recent rain it’s a great little swimming hole.

    1. Buy a Kiddie pool  
    2. Spruce woods campground Beach has a dedicated Doggie Beach  
    3. Retriever Club South of town $30 a year membership and they have a big lake for training dogs.
