Cat and anal gland problem ( suggestions )

My cat had her gland removed a couple years ago & now she has a difficult time going number 2 any suggestions as to what to do ? I limit her hard food & I give her hair ball control laxative it helps but sometimes she will not take it also she will eat Vaseline .

Try about a tsp of olive oil with her cat food.

has a similar problem. Vet has her on the indoor cat hairball food and a capsule of Metamcil (human grade off the pharmacy shelf) mixed in with soft canned food. Just open capsule and dump powder on soft food - mix.

Have you spoken with your vet and told her of your cat's difficulties? What did he/ she suggest?

Restoralax for cat

My cat has issues with number 2. I've been giving him restoralax daily and nothing but wet food.
