Dinsdale Park or any of the local lakes.

I take mine to Dinsdale Park near the dock; trouble is there, as along most parts of the river, the clay muck might be a deterrent. If you don't mind traveling, Minnedosa lake is only a half hour away, and cleaner there. Don't use google for something like this, get a map. There's a lot more local information there than on google.
