I can't find ANY dog food that my 5 LB chihuahua enjoys. Have tried many kinds. Do you have any suggestions, small but tasty for her?  
Also anyone had their female spayed recently. How did it go? How about urinary incontinence for older Chihuahuas? Thx

We have tried so many foods and the only one mine will eat is Science Hills for Finicky Eaters. We had her fixed about 6 months ago and everything went just great.

Can you share name of vet u used for spay?

I had a female chihuahua that lived to 16 and there were no incontinence issues with her.

We recently switched our chihuahua to the hills science brand. This bag is the speciality sensitive stomach and skin. We had the Instinct brand before and he would eat it but didn’t love it, seemed to only eat it when he was finally hungry enough. The hills science brand is quite a bit smaller in size which I think he likes.

I have two chihuahuas and feed them the fresh food that you get at Sobeys in the south end. They love it.

This problem in older dogs, mostly female, stems not from spaying or not spaying. But more importantly when you decide to spay.  
 
To get ideal hormone development and bone growth, it is advised to wait until 2 years of age before fixing a dog, , male or female.  
 
In the least wait for one heat cycle or two before fixing. Our first lab was spayed right at 6 months. By the time she was 8 she started having problems with the bladder....directly related to early spaying.  
 
A lot of vets will not inform of these side effects. Some do
