My big Dog will not stop playing on hard surfaces. No matter how many soft comfy places I make for him to lay down inside and outside he just keeps on waiting on either the cement or the wood steps. One of the calluses has a sore that is bleeding on it now. I keep putting the antibiotic cream and Vaseline on it but I don't think it's going to heal properly because he won't stop playing on it. I've tried wrapping it and it lasted about 5 minutes before you ripped it off. Any ideas?

Are you sure that's callus? It looks like a wart to me. Maybe get a vet to check it out so you can be sure

just a thought maybe something made from velcro that you can tighten but not to tight , and maybe you have to make it uncomfortable to lay on the sore side maybe put in the velcro some golf balls or tennis balls .cinch up like a horse saddle . good luck keep me posted

When I take a closer look looks like a wart on the callus.
