I've got 2 cats here that have noticeably decreased in health inside of the past 1-2 weeks.  
 
One cat, has lost a considerable amount of weight, despite that he is still eating.  
 
The second cat, is losing all of his hair on his hind quarters and tail. But the top half and his belly are still full and the hair looks healthy. Whereas, on the hind quarters, it is extremely thin and wire-y looking.  
 
Both cats were treated with worm pills (from the vet) 4-5 weeks ago and I know that they both ate them (like candy).  
 
These cats were here when we moved out to our acreage. I like them very much, they're nice cats, but I cannot afford to spend alot of money on them. I don't know if they've ever been to the vet and I have no idea how old they could be.  
 
Any thoughts or suggestions as to what could be causing this? Has anyone else had "farm" cats that have experienced these symptoms?
