Not a good way to sell puppies...

A few minutes ago I ran up to a local department store, and I could not believe what I saw, I just had to write about it, seen as it kinda goes along with some of the discussions that we have had..
There is a van parked in the department store parking lot, and on the windows they have signs that say puppies for sale, in front of the van they have a wooden toy box, the lid is up and on the lid it says puppies for sale, inside the box is PUPPIES! They are large cross bred mutts, shepard, and probably 30 other breeds..
I went and told them that if they needed help finding good homes for these pups to please call Funds For Furry Friends and get some help to make sure they get a great home. And I was told that they are good dogs and he wants the money.
Even if he wants the money I feel there are better ways of making sure they get a great home, instead of just anyone that happens to drive up and buy on impulse like that.. An impulse large dog buy is never a good idea, someone may not know what they are getting into. They have no way of knowing how good a home is just because someone in a parking lot hands them some cash..
This was really sad.. seeing these puppies in a box like that, I thought we as humans had come farther than that. These for sure are puppies that should NOT have ever been bred. I am hoping the best for them, but this could be bad in so many many ways..
