Yup... Apparently he has said that Kate wont take care of them, actually from what I saw a long time ago, she seems to hate them... Don't know why they got them in the first place, they were never treated very well. I remember once when the kids and parents were going to have a picnic outside, the attention starved dogs happily came over for some attention and to spent time with their family and Kate yelles JOHN get these dogs in their cage where they belong!! Kate refuses to take care of them when he is not around, even though they were supposed to be for the girls, I remember how bad the twins wanted them, the humane society where they live has recieved many complaints about the way the dogs have been cared for. It is really sad, and sure is not a good lesson to show your kids, tell your kids they are part of the family, and then show them that we can send family back... I wish they never got them in the first place, I said it from day one.  
 
I believe they are being sent back to the breeder, probably part of the contract that they are required to do, I hope and pary that these dogs find a loving forever family that will take them into their home and wrap their arms and hearts around them and give them all the love and fill all their needs, good luck Shoka and Nala.
