I asked dh about putting a 'Beware of Dog' sign up to deter uninvited or unfamiliar guests from showing up. He said that they are a liability because if she ever actuallt bit an intruder, we could be sued. I thought it was the other way around. No sign, bite, then lawsuit.  
 
Does anyone know the answer to this? I know she is fine with people she knows, but I have seen her become viciouswith people trying to break in in the middle of the night. (She got big lovin' then!) However, I would prefer to not even tempt intruders by warning them of her.
