Wheat City Vet Clinic "Cat Neuter Day"
10/23/2009 at 10:39 AM
Why is Wheat City Vet Clinic having “Cat Neuter Day”?
Every year hundreds of unwanted cats are euthanized here in Brandon. This is due to overpopulation caused by people who are not spaying and neutering their cats. There are simply too many cats around to find homes for every one of them, so the sad reality of it is they have to be humanely euthanized.
Pet overpopulation is a problem everywhere and the statistics of how many cats and dogs are euthanized every year is disturbing and upsetting.
Working in a vet clinic we have to deal with the reality of pet overpopulation on a daily basis. We would like to contribute in a positive way to the problem and help out the community we live in. Therefore we are organizing “Cat Neuter Day”, where we will do cat neuters for ½ price.
REMEMBER: Overpopulation isn’t the end of the world, unless you’re a kitten
When: Saturday,November 28th
