Some time ago, I placed an ad regarding a cat rescue in my community. 14 cats had been left to starve at a home that was no longer being lived in. These cats are all living outside. I have successfully placed 4 females, as to me they are the ones most in crisis. Due to an unexpected tragedy in my family I have been unable to humanely catch any more, but they are still fed and watered every day. I would like everyone to know that I am not giving up and will start catching them again when I know homes are available. This has more than doubled my pet costs as I have several pets of my own. That is not the issue, this house will be going up for sale and the fate of these cats will depend on how quickly I can get them out of there before this happens. This is not a concern for anyone but me, meaning owners, family or RM. No one cares. All cats now come running when I get there, they are shy but can become trusting if enough time is taken. There is a lovely black and white one who I feel would be a very appropriate house cat - given the chance. Please spread the word, view my classified under cats and continue to hep with this rescue.
