Backyard Breeding

So i am a huge animal lover and care very much about the welfare of animals. So i like to browse the classified for horses mainly but tend to wander into the dogs and cats. Everyday there are new posting for puppies, dogs, kittens, and cats. I mean why keep breeding them? Some are cross bred and people still want like $400 plus. Yes some people are giving away kittens and puppies but what kinds of homes are they going to? Cats can have up to 5 litters a year. There are so many animals being put down every day because shelters dont have room for them. It makes me sick. Get your animals spayed and neutered. and if you can't afford it you shouldn't have pets. Its just ridiculus.
