About a year ago the vets noticed the start of kidney failure in my cat. And just this summer we noticed it got worse which it is now chronic kidney disease. My cat screams all day long (the vets say he is in no pain). We have him on a diet to help slow to process down, but I believe it is only getting worse. He is peeing in the house like crazy plus the screaming. There is also a HUGE weight loss, he is was always on the chunky side but now you can feel every bone. I have had him for 7 years and find it hard to put him to sleep. Just thinking about it hurts, I feel like im letting him suffer just because I can't bring myself to part with him. But then I also feel like I'm giving up on him. I'm stuck on what to do in this situation.
