Okay here's the deal. I almost hit a dog with my car on the way home from work. I decided to pick her up and drive around looking for her owners. I knocked on doors around the area and asked if anybody recognized her. Decided to take her home and give her water and food. Even bought her a collar because I don't have a fenced yard and had to tie her up. Called radio stations humane society and the pound. No one is looking for her. So I called the pound back and said I had this dog and I want her picked up cause my dog isn't getting along with this found dog. She directed me to call the police and they would dispatch someone out to come and pick her up. Well apparently animal control only works till 5 and they wont come until tomorrow. I then calles the pound back and told them no one can come out to get her but I can drive her there myself. Well, this is against the rules she said and only an officer can drop her off.  
 
So what am I supposed to do. Let this dog go again and hope for the best (which I don't have the heart to do) or leave my dog in the house all night. This situation makes no sense to me whatsoever.  
 
Ps this found dog gave me a rash by touching her so I also don't want her in my house nor my dog touching her. I don't want my puppy getting sick.  
 
I just don't know what to do!
