Our dog was just recently diagnosed with hemolytic anemia after becoming very lethargic, she also had pale gums and was breathing heavy. She needed a blood transfusion and is now taking prednisone pills. She seems to be on the mend now, but I just wondered if anyone else has/ had a pet with the same diagnosis?  
I have looked this up on the internet and asked the vet lots of questions, but would love to hear someone else's experience with this. I had never heard of it before now.
