While walking on city walk/bike paths, I have been startled many times by bikers who come from behind and pass within inches. Some cities have a bylaw that makes it mandatory to have a bell to alert the pedestrians that they are there and will be passing. To the man on the bike last night just north of the walking bridge: please don't drive between my daughter and two miniature pinschers without warning again...someone might get hurt. Anyone else want a bell bylaw?
