I have a 7 month old Great Pyrenees (Bentley) during the summer he had several rounds of diarrhea, I came home one day to a very big mess in my house and found that he had blood in his stool. I took him to the vet and they tested for parvo and did x-rays to see if he had a blockage....he was sent home with nothing medically wrong with him. He gets better but every few weeks we go through the same thing.....came home again today to find a sick dog, he has blood in his stool again it is very mucousy and also will have mucousy vomit...I cannot afford to take him back to the vet every month and was just wondering if anyone else has had similar troubles and also wondering what others would do in the same situation?????
