My dog seems to have a need to bark. It's almost like he has to bark for 30 minutes every day and then he is fine. I have tried everything to stop this. I started with one of those anti-bark bird houses. Did not work. Then got one of the bark collars. Does not work. Once he gets going there is no stopping him. I have chased him around the back yard trying to get him to come in but he gets in almost a zone and I can't catch him. He runs in a large circle just barking. I do excercise him everyday as he is a hyper dog. But it doesn't seem to matter if we are out for an hour or three hours he still barks for that half an hour every morning. I know take him out on a leash to the back yard in the morning so that my neighbours don't have to listen to him. This morning I tried going for a walk as soon as I got up with him. He is now sitting at the back door crying to go out. I know it's not to go to the bathroom, he has done that already. He just wants to go bark. Any suggestions?
