Boarding a Cat ...puhleeze help!
2/27/2007 at 10:49 PM
We have our little Kitty girl - one year old. She is a beautiful, spoiled little cat and I mean little - not a regular cat size but looks very small and Siames'ish, although she was one of a litter of orange and grey barn cats but raised in the house. She is a lovely cat.
We need to board her for 2 nights!
She is used to people - not other cats although she has a Shih-tzu Dog for company everyday - they get along OK.
She is NOT an outside cat in winter and is tethered with Dog on the step in the summer and quite happy. Not de-clawed and just really a wuss, having no experience with other kitties.
She loves to sleep between the crook of our legs (Any family member). She is quite shy and skittish.
I am just so worried about how she would cope in a kennel.
Any suggestions?
I have always been just a dog person (guilted into getting a cat)...so I treat her like the dog. Spoiled.
I can't imagine leaving her alone in the house for two days.
