I own a amazing beautiful German Shorthair Pointer : ) and I really never run into any one that owns one, so for the ones who have Pointers, I would love to know what you guys feed your Pointers?!?

Our sweet Pointy is 13 years old.  
We feed her Now Grain Free Senior.  
It is a moderate protein as she didn't do  
well on the high protein dry raw diets.

Does very well on this diet.

We buy a bag of royal canine duck and pear from the vet office and a bag of duck and potato from the pet store... I think that brand is natural balance but can remember off hand. We just mix them together. We had a lot of dietary problems in our first year but figured out its a protein intolerance, and a high metabolism. We can now be less discriminate with treats which used to be a nightmare. Our 'pup' is four years old and still quite energetic.

I have. 2 pointers, one is 6 and the is 3 both are females....we feed Natural Balance Bison and Sweet Potatoe, our older one has allergies, we went thru many brands til we found one that she could handle, this one has worked for her since she was a pup!!  

I hope those treats are not made in China, there was a program on Tv about those as well as chicken ones, they have proven they kill dogs! I for one lost my 18 month old mini schnauzer , due to those treats , attacks their kidneys, and liver. FYI
