Just wondering what the appropriate age to fix a rabbit is? Any idea what the actual cost is?  

Age is usually around 6 months. And the cost depends where you go and if the rabbit is male or female. The cost is about the same as a cat. Females at grand valley is approx 180 males being less because its not an invasive surgery.

For my daughter's rabbit we went to wheat city vet clinic on the recommendation of our clinic for our dogs (grand valley) at wheat city they have lots of experience with small animals. Depends if it is a boy or girl as they are 2 diff surgeries. I don't remember exactly what we paid but it was around the 70.00 range. We had him done at 7 months. Once we confirmed he had testicles the appt got booked. They are great there! so we have a dog vet clinic and a rabbit vet clinic lol  
 
 
Edit: wow after reading above post of kayla Im glad my vet clinic (grand valley) recommended another! 180? ouch.

Thats the cost for a female. Males are a lot cheaper everywhere. Grand valley is the only clinic i will go to as they are really great there.

Was 75.00 and they clipped his nails. He even got a bravery certificate!

try getting it a surrogate. Our beloved rabbit took a liking to mounting my wife's leg (I Kicked). A friend suggested a plush toy Rabbit and it provided hours of enjoyment for Bunny. Also was hilarious to watch.
