I was just wondering, according to Bill 218, are landlord's able to evict/refuse you due to having a pet? Here's a link to the page I've read about it. I'm not a lawyer, so I'm a little unclear about it.

Well I hope you didn't go out and get a pet in hopes of Fluffy's Law that I am pretty sure got shut down.

.....it is possible and easy for landlords / owners to recoup all the costs involved with rehabilitation, they should absolutely have the right to refuse the presence of beasts in the rental properties they own.  
 
If you have broken a contract indicating you would not house pets hike renting then yes I would think you can be evicted.

This bill hasn't been passed yet so until it does the old law stands

and whoever started the rumors that it was passed is causing a lot of headaches for people.  
 
Bill 218 (Fluffy's Law) was originally put into question in 2010, but it was quickly and quietly put down by the province, as really, it's not fair to landlords.  
 
However, in 2013, Bill 40 was passed, and this Bill states that landlords can now charge a full months rent damage deposit for pets. This, according to the Residential Tenancies Board, is to help encourage landlords to allow pets.  
 
I have spoken directly to landlord tenancies, and they have confirmed that Bill 218 is not in effect, and that someone has been spreading that it is, causing a lot of headaches for landlords and tenants.

"Pets  
A landlord can refuse to allow tenants to have pets. Or, they can set general guidelines for the kind of pets tenants can have. For example: Small breed dogs or cats may be allowed. Landlords who choose to allow pets in their buildings can ask tenants who have pets to pay a pet damage deposit.  
 
Landlords can change their "pet rules". If a landlord brings in a new "no pet rule", tenants who were allowed pets under the old rules can keep them, but can’t replace them."  
 
 
Service animals are, of course, exempt from landlord restrictions.
