is there a dog park in brandon for small dogs? or obedience training in the city for small dogs...my dog is a maltese puppy and she needs socializing and training..any help would be appreciated.

Hi I have a toy breed shitzu Yorkie. We have done all her training with two brown dogs and it's been excellent. They do have a puppy class that allows your puppy to become socialized and comfortable with other dogs without putting them at risk, especially if they are small. The only dog park that I am aware of is briarcrest that has a small dog area, but it is tiny. Hope this helps let me know what other info I can provide.

Hi, I have tried the small dog area on Braecrest drive, but it has been really dirty in the past. Also, you would have to carry your dog into that area as bigger, often unsocial iced dogs are off leash in the general area....  
The Paw has puppy classes and they are very caring people!

I found the two brown dogs listing in the phone book and will give them a call. thanks
