I have a dog that is a 1 year old and for the last few months has had quite sever aggression toward other dogs and humans on our walks. He is absolute perfect in the house when people he doesnt know comes into the house, just on walks he has a big problem. We have taken private classes before but it hasn't seemed to help him though we do know his aggression is out of anxiety. This is out of our hands now and we need more help. Does anyone know of a trainer that could help for this? Thanks

Hands down Renee! We learned so much from her. We started our first class with a dog that was reactive and fearful, terrible with other dogs, strange people, and he was destructive. Now he lives very peacefully with 3 other dogs, his separation anxiety is almost non existent (he still has the odd day where he gets worried about us leaving but easy to deal with now)It's a lot of work to get there but it is so worth it. I'm not sure we would have been able to accomplish that without Renee's help

Any idea of the cost, just ballpark, of working with Renee?

She did a 2 hour assessment of our dog, then 6 weeks of classes one on one for 225.00 Her other dog classes are 8 weeks I believe and those are about 80.00. It's well worth the money. I found she responded faster to emails than if you phone her office.

I recommend Lynn White at Friends fur life daycare on 26 th street. She is excellent with dogs. Our dog had some aggressive behavior problems and she helped us. Renee has more of a soft approach that involves rewards and tests. Lynn teaches you how to be alpha and correct your dogs behavior. When it comes to aggressive behaviors I think Lynn is a better bet
