| | Brenda said "I am not an angry bitter person! I have cats, that are kept in doors. I keep them indoors as I would be devastated if they got run over or lost, or into the neighbors garden.
So, I would like the same respect from my neighbor and her three cats and two yappy dogs. I spent over $200 on flowers this year and the neighbors cat is in my flower garden digging around and shitting. We have spoken to her nicely, nothing has changed. Traps will be set up. " |

Three cats is ILLEGAL. Households in Brandon are allowed two.
Sometimes speaking to neighbors politely has no effect - in fact when we tried this, our jerk neighbor did it more blatantly and began going out of her way to be a rude neighbor. Her cats were repeatedly trapped by bylaw (I was not the only one complaining), and yet even though the rule is the fines get bigger each time, these bloody cats would come home each time and be set out right away.
I have a six foot fenced yard, and my dog, who is licensed and never is off leash except in our own yard - came in bleeding so badly last night after having a fight with someones' cat in my yard that I worried she would need stitches. Luckily it stopped, but she could have lost an eye.
So all you people who think it is no big deal and your cats are not hurting anyone - how would you feel if your animal was injured in your own back yard by someone elses' animal?
It is a disgusting attitude to be so cavalier about other peoples' valid complaints.
